BabyCare · Last updated 1.8.2026

BabyCare is built so that your child's records stay yours. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no servers of ours holding your data.

1. What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, receive or store any personal data about you or your child. There is no sign-up, no user identifier, no analytics SDK, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier and no third-party tracking of any kind.

2. Where your records live

Everything you enter — names, dates of birth, photos, sleep, feeds, diaper changes, temperature, symptoms, medications, growth measurements, appointments and notes — is stored on your device by Apple's SwiftData, protected by iOS file encryption while your device is locked.

If you turn on iCloud sync, that data is also stored in your own private iCloud database, encrypted by Apple and reachable only by your Apple Account. It is not accessible to us. You can turn sync off at any time in Settings.

3. Information about a child

The records you keep are largely about a child, entered by you as their parent or carer. Because that information never leaves your device or your own iCloud account, it is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. BabyCare is designed for use by adults; it is not directed at children and has no features that let a child provide information to us.

4. Purchases

BabyCare Plus is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see or receive your name, card details or billing address. Whether you are entitled to Plus is checked on your device against Apple's signed receipt, so unlocking Plus requires no account and sends nothing to us.

5. Network activity

The app makes no network calls of its own. The only network traffic it causes is Apple's — CloudKit sync when you enable it, and the App Store when you buy or restore a purchase.

6. Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device and delivered by iOS. Their contents, including your child's name, do not leave the device. There are no push notifications from a server.

7. Sharing and exports

PDF and CSV exports are created on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet, where you choose the destination. Nothing is uploaded automatically. Exports contain personal health information about your child — treat them with care and share them only with people you trust, such as your child's doctor.

8. Keeping and deleting your data

Your records stay until you delete them. You can delete individual entries at any time, or remove everything with “Delete all data” in Settings. Deleting the app removes its local data; if iCloud sync was on, remove the app's data from your iCloud account in the iOS Settings app as well. Because we hold nothing, there is nothing for you to request from us or for us to delete on your behalf.

9. Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR give you rights of access, correction, deletion and portability over personal data held about you. Those rights are satisfied directly in the app: your data is in your hands, editable and deletable by you, and exportable as PDF or CSV.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version appears here and the date at the top changes with it.

11. Language

This policy may be provided in several languages for convenience. If there is any conflict between versions, the English version governs.
